Biography

Asaad Pireh has graduated in MSc degree of Tectonics from Shahid Beheshti University, Tehran, Iran. His MSc Thesis entitled was “Analysis of fractures in different facies of Garau’s Formation and their relationship with reservoir properties of Kabir kuh anticline (Lurestan-Iran)” which was the project of N.I.O.C Exploration Directorate. Then in research institute of petroleum industry of Iran he was worked as a researcher in project of shale gas of Iran: “Estimate and evaluate the geomechanical properties of Garau Formation using the geological properties and effects on the distribution of fractures (Lurestan) (As Unconventional reservoir (gas-Shale Formation))”.He used SEM to identify micro fractures and their directions to finding out their relationship with each other and used them for geomodeling and reconstruction of basin since their creating. Then he has worked in Samaneh kansar zamin Company in Tehran, Iran as a structural geologist and core logger. He has reviewed for some international journals and he has got Certificates for reviewing them.
